What does NFC function mean

How to use NFC APP?

NFC stands for Near Field Communication. It is a short-range, high-frequency wireless communication technology that enables devices to exchange data when they are in close proximity to each other (usually within 10 centimeters).

1. Payment Applications

1. One of the most common uses of NFC is mobile payment. For example, at NFC-enabled merchants, users can simply bring their NFC-enabled cell phones or payment cards close to the payment terminal to complete the payment. These payment methods, such as Apple's Apple Pay, Google's Google Pay and Huawei's Huawei Pay, utilize NFC technology to securely store payment information, such as bank cards, in the device, and safeguard the security of the payment through encryption and secure authentication mechanisms.

2. Transportation card function

1. NFC can simulate a transportation card. The public transportation system in many cities supports NFC traffic card function, users can use the NFC function in the cell phone to add an electronic traffic card, when taking the subway, bus and other means of transportation, use the cell phone close to the card-swiping device to take the bus. This is not only convenient for passengers, but also reduces the risk of carrying and losing physical cards.

3. Data Transmission

1.NFC enables fast data transfer between devices. For example, two NFC-enabled smartphones can quickly share photos, videos, contact information and other files with a single touch. This type of transmission is easier and faster than traditional Bluetooth pairing. Some NFC tags can also be pre-written with information such as Wi-Fi passwords, web addresses, etc. When an NFC-enabled device touches the tag, it automatically reads this information and performs the corresponding actions, such as automatically connecting to a Wi-Fi network or opening a specified web page.

4. Device Pairing and Connectivity

1. In the smart home and IoT fields, NFC facilitates fast pairing and connection of devices. For example, when pairing an NFC-enabled smart speaker with a cell phone, the pairing process can be completed quickly by simply placing the two in close proximity to each other, which is much easier and quicker than manually entering a passcode or performing complex Bluetooth pairing. This also makes NFC a key player in simplifying the process of connecting devices.
