Practical methods for solving NFC anomalies in cell phones

Software

NFC function software abnormality check

Check and turn on the NFC function: Go to the “Settings” menu of your phone, and find the “NFC” option in the options of “Wireless & Networks”, “Connections” or “More Settings”. Confirm the SIM card: If you are using an NFC-SIM card, you need to confirm whether the SIM card supports NFC function, whether it is inserted into the correct slot, and whether the corresponding service is enabled.

 

Check the battery and back case: The NFC contact point of some models is connected to the battery or back case of the phone, so you need to confirm whether the battery and back case are original.


External environment and compatibility

Avoid signal interference: Try to avoid using the NFC function in environments that may interfere with the NFC signal, such as strong electromagnetic waves or near metal objects.

 

Check compatibility: Ensure that the device that communicates with the phone supports NFC, such as public transportation cards, access cards, payment terminals, etc. Some devices may have compatibility problems. Some devices may have compatibility issues, so try replacing them with other NFC-enabled devices for testing.
